14 downloads this week 3799 downloads total   Download SCWebCam3 installer for Windows (510.7 k) since 2019-03-25 This was a pretty popular tool for a while, definitely my best download before the database crash. ;) This lets you capture your desktop and upload it via FTP to a web server at predefined intervals. It can also capture webcam, but it is based on an older "Video for Windows" interface and some webcams hang it up. Supports scripting which supports modifying the image. Also has a built-in hardened web server for serving the picture and a simple web page. I wrote this in 1999 when I wanted to capture what I was working on and share it. Today, it's pretty obsolete... there are better ways to do most of the things it does (particularly with the rise of video streaming.) I'm leaving it up because a number of shady sites are mirroring it and I don't know if their archives are safe - this way I can continue to recommend my own.
