6502 Emulator for 9900 - v0.1

If this software is cool or useful to you, consider a small donation to the programmer! There is *no* need to pay to download and enjoy this software! But it's a lot of work and I do it in my so-called spare time, so a couple of dollars would be really appreciated! :)

This is a functional (though not very well tested) 6502 emulator for the TI99/4A, coded in 9900 assembly.

It runs pretty slowly, looking to be about 0.04MHz right now. Not certain it works on the real hardware yet, either, but it runs fine on Classic99.

The test code in there simply loops a short 6502 program. On the vertical interrupt (every 1/60th of a second) it displays and resets the cycle count, so you can see how many machine cycles were processed in that last 1/60th of a second. The number is displayed in hex.

That's it. This is only of interest to geeks and programmers (the latter maybe).

Notes

  • Not at all well tested - only the opcodes and addressing modes in TEST1 (see the source) are proven to work
  • Could do with more optimization
