Download the 6502 Emulator and source for TI99/4A (EA#5) (9.6 k) |
This is a functional (though not very well tested) 6502 emulator for the TI99/4A, coded in 9900 assembly.
It runs pretty slowly, looking to be about 0.04MHz right now. Not certain it works on the real hardware yet, either, but it runs fine on Classic99.
The test code in there simply loops a short 6502 program. On the vertical interrupt (every 1/60th of a second) it displays and resets the cycle count, so you can see how many machine cycles were processed in that last 1/60th of a second. The number is displayed in hex.
That's it. This is only of interest to geeks and programmers (the latter maybe).
