This package transfers disks to the PC from the TI at 19.2k over a standard serial cable. It's tested reliable on a stock console with a Corcomp RS232 in the PEB. Disks are named based on the original diskname on the TI and most of the transfer is automated.

It has two modes - Bitmap mode which is faster, where only the used sectors are transferred, and Full Disk mode, which transfers every sector whether used or not.

This package includes full source for both sides (the TI side comes as a .DSK full disk image), as well as executables. The TI executable is included in the ZIP file complete with TIMODEM header for XMODEM transfer from your PC, and is a standard E/A#5 app.

Each sector is checksummed as a measure of integrity checking during transfer.

Note that this is a Windows ZIP file but I've placed it in the TI section anyway.

  • Was just a quick and dirty system to transfer my floppies, there probably are glitches and I don't intend to extend it much
  • Error recovery is extremely limited. In transferring 50 disks, however, I had zero errors.
  • TI side is old c99 based so MUST have the real Editor/Assembler cart loaded.
