Thanks to SavannahCat for brightening my day, she found the homepage of the studio that created /Lion and the King/. Apparently, it's really called King of the Animals, and even better, there's a prequel!

They have a website with all their animations, and brief trailers of each one. The videos are all in German, but enjoy them anyway!

Wonder how much it'd cost to really own KotA2... ;)

Or we could commission something... >:)
